Drop Courses and Refunds

The University operates on a 16 week semester calendar in fall and spring, and a 12 week semester calendar in summer. The program offers Accountancy courses in two 8-week sessions for fall and spring. Please remember that even though there are two 8-week courses, all courses still occur within the semester calendar.

Some non-accountancy courses are offered on a different academic calendar which means they are non-standard term courses. An example of a non-standard term course is one which starts before the 16 week semester calendar.

Drop means to cancel one or more courses after the semester starts, while remaining actively enrolled in at least one course that same semester.

Cancellation means all courses are cancelled before the start of the semester or before the start of an eight week session only if a student is registered for courses in one eight week session only.

Withdrawal means all courses are cancelled on or after the semester start date or after classes have started in an eight week session only if a student is registered for courses in one eight week session only.
